Procedure To Fill Application Form For CLAT 2021

• The entire process of filling and submission of the Clat Application Forms online. Offline submission of application forms will not be entertained.
• A candidate needs to visit the official website of the exam conducting authority to fill all the application details in the specified size and format as prescribed by the government. These details include name, contact information, educational qualifications, etc.
• Finally, the applicant will have to upload the scanned copy (JPG/JPEG format) of the photo, signature, and supporting documents along with the form and submit it online on the website.
• It is advised that the candidate should fill in all their preferences of NLU colleges and institutions at the time of filling the application form.
• There is an application fee prescribed for different categories of candidates to apply for the exam.

Candidates will need to submit this non-refundable fee using online payment methods such as debit card/ net banking/ credit card.

• The CLAT Application correction facility will allow candidates to rectify any mistakes in their application form submission. However, this facility is available only for a limited period. So, it is important to fill in the details carefully.

• The print out of the filled application form should be preserved for any future references.

Nationality: Indian/OCIs/NRIs/ PIOs candidates can apply for this exam.

1. Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

• No upper age limit criterion
• Should have passed “10+2” or any equivalent exam from an accredited board.
• Should have passed with a minimum of 45% marks in the “10+2” exam. In the case of (SC/ ST) category, it is 40%.
• Candidates who are appearing in the 12th class can also take this exam provided that they produce proof of their passing examination at the admission time.

1. Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses:

• Must possess an LL.B. degree or its equivalent from an accredited university or board.
• No upper age limit criterion.
• Should have passed with a minimum 50% aggregate in the qualifying exam. In the case of (SC/ ST) category, it is 45%.
• Candidates appearing in final year law degree exams can also apply.
